On February 26th, fifth-grade students embarked on an educational excursion to the city of Santa Marta under the guidance of Mrs. Linith Ortega, their Social Studies teacher. This enriching activity aimed to solidify classroom teachings by immersing students in hands-on learning experiences.
Throughout the trip, students delved into historical, economic, and social aspects of the city through guided visits to its significant landmarks. They engaged in in-depth analyses of historical events and gained insights into the life and legacy of the liberator, Simón Bolívar.
The outing proved to be a valuable opportunity for students to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts, fostering a deeper understanding of their academic studies.
